I'm now reading Alfian's older entries.
Welcome. This site accumulates information on Butoh and also other forms of self expression as time goes by. i was introduced to this dance form that crosses over to theatre when i went for the workshop held in conjunction with Hijikata's Memorial Dance Troupe performance in Singapore's Art Fest 2003. Carthartic experience. I'm not a dancer myself and you do not have to be trained to express yourself, which explains why Butoh reaches out to audience from all walks of life. I've decided add some links which might be of interest to you.
